Want to adapt your reading experience to your preferences? With Vivlio 4.0, the reading settings let you customise the appearance of your books and adjust their layout according to your habits. Thanks to two distinct categories, Style and Layout, you can configure your reading experience down to the smallest details.
Style: customise your reading comfort
The Style settings let you change the overall appearance of your reading experience.
You can, in particular:
- Change the font size to make the text smaller or larger, according to your preferences.
- Choose a reading theme from several options: a classic background, a paper-coloured background or a black background.
- Adapt the app’s display mode by choosing, in particular, a light or dark theme.
- Scroll through pages vertically rather than moving from one page to the next horizontally.
These options allow you to create a reading environment suited to your preferences, whether you are reading in the middle of the day or in a dimly lit room.
Layout: adjust the text display
The Layout settings let you change how the text is presented to adapt it to your reading comfort.
You can therefore:
- Choose the font that suits you best.
- Change the margins to adjust the space between the text and the edges of the page.
- Adjust the line spacing to give the text more space or bring the lines closer together.
- Enable two-page display to view two pages side by side, when this option is available.
- Justify the text to align paragraphs with the left and right margins, for a presentation closer to that of a printed book.
These settings give you greater freedom to adapt the presentation of your books to your visual comfort and reading habits.
How can I access these settings?
To customise your reading experience, open a book in the Vivlio app, then tap the centre of the screen to display the menu. Next, go to the reading settings and explore the Style and Layout options.
